Welcome to the MDG Poster Toolkit |
|
On behalf of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH (German Technical Cooperation) and the Equator Initiative hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), it is our pleasure to make available to you the new MDG Poster Generation Tool. This tool follows the very successful launch of the MDG Poster Book - a users manual on how to prepare, create and present community-level work in a visual poster format, which clearly demonstrates linkages to the MDGs. This tool will enable you to easily create your own poster, save it for future use, and print it. Through consultations with communities and organisations that have already created a poster, it is clear that these posters are an extremely valuable aid in drawing attention to the integrated nature of community work: demonstrating contributions that community conservation is making to the achievement of the MDGs. As you make your own community posters, we encourage you to send us an electronic copy at equatorinitative@undp.org. Further, your continued feedback is crucial in ensuring that we maintain a tool that is user-friendly, intuitive, and optimally designed to provide a simple and effective method of displaying your work. For examples of already existing posters, please see attached »Poster Book PDF. |
